Longevity is our philosophy. La dolce vita is the result.

Sento is Italian for “I feel”. We borrowed it from the country of centenarians and long lunches because the idea behind the club was never about living forever. It was about living well, for as long as possible, with people who make it enjoyable.

Lily and Henry

Lily

Hooked from her first reformer class ten years ago. Lily juggled corporate work with teaching Pilates at studios around Newcastle until her first baby, and a hard postpartum stretch, took her understanding of what movement can do to another level.

Henry

Wants to raise the bat on his 100th birthday: fit, sharp and still beating his grandkids in a putt-off. He lost grandparents too soon, and believes the longevity journey starts now, not later. He built the club for people who want to get the most out of life, for themselves and the people they love.

Five pillars of longevity

Drawn from the world's longest-living cultures and adapted for a busy life in Newcastle. They shape everything we do.

  • Movement

Sustainable movement through reformer Pilates: strength, balance and flexibility at every age and season of life. Consistency over intensity.

  • A balanced life

Chronic stress is the enemy of a long life. The infrared sauna, breath-led recovery and a studio that feels like a holiday are how we fight it.

  • Connection

People who live long, healthy lives are deeply connected to the people around them. Sento is a place to belong, not just a place to train.

  • Nutrition

Meals enjoyed slowly, in good company, with the occasional wine. We share ideas and real-world guidance, not rules.

  • Purpose

The secret to a long and happy life. A community of like-minded people gives you the confidence to live the way you want to.

What makes Sento different

  • Inclusive, not intimidating

Come as you are, in whatever you own. No matching sets, no pilates-princess energy, all ages and every starting point.

  • A free Beginner Orientation for everyone

We hear the story and goals of every single person who walks in our door before their first class.

  • Space to be coached

We don't pack the room with beds. Small classes mean instructors can give you 1:1 attention while you're still surrounded by friends.

  • Recovery that's taken seriously

One of the world's leading infrared saunas, in its own recovery area, not thrown in for the sake of it.

The instructors

Different styles, different flows, the same standard: they know your name, they correct your form, and they'll push you a little further every class.
